OPL is a sustainability company that wants to provide socially responsible and human-centered tools to live environmentally conscious lives without sacrificing wellness and lifestyle.
They are creating an “information hub” on their website to distribute to their mobile application and social channels.
I developed a pitch to redirect content to discussable and usable topics on all of our platforms. I felt the current headlines they discussed didn’t intrigue the demographic they would see activity.
While pursuing the audience under 30, they are the user most likely to take steps to download an app and take advantage of its’ convenience.
After researching, I developed a journey that takes a user from seeing their content to downloading the app or visiting their webpage to read more.
Looking at this example, I felt there was a theme we could adopt.
I assembled a presentation and created mockups to demonstrate the journey.

My time at OPL was brief but provided a great outlet to apply my education. I was tasked with driving app downloads and establishing a presence on our social channels utilizing hashtags, brand colors, and approved topics.
Over 90 days, our company's Facebook reach increased by 165% and Instagram by 387%.
